Life in a Metro...........

More or less everyone knows about the life in a metro. The metropolitan people are habituated of it and they are so busy to feel the essence of their own life. They just follow their routine as the machines. So ask the person who is new to a metro that how he feels ...................

Making our own living is not every difficult here but for this we have to pay more than what we get. In a metro, everybody is busy. Most of the people are busy in doing nothing. But still they don't have enough time to think and feel about the other dimensions of life which are more important than keeping ourselves busy in doing nothing or some worthless things. Today people are becoming robots. People are using one another for their own sake. People treat everyone as an opportunity here rather than humans. They lack in emotions which differentiate them from other living things. They want to be financially secure for their bright future. They are only happy when they count the increasing zeros in their banck accounts. Today only money matters. People are recognized here only by their bank balance. Anyone can understand the importance of money in life but money is not the everything which we want from our lives. We can buy a bread but not the hunger, we can buy a bed but not the sleep and not even we can buy our tears and happiness from the money. Every moment of our lives are unique and we should try to live them to its fullest because the lost time can't be gained. People have no relation with nature today, and for this we have to pay one day.
This is what I feel today while living in a metro like the capital city of a country like INDIA. I have been living here for more than four years but still I don't feel comfortable here with the environment and the people. I don't say that all people are same here but most of them are and the people who are not like them, are trying to be like them because they think that they can only be developed by becoming modern. Shameless people are said frank and indiscipline behaviour is said sexy here. I know a small town boy who was so brilliant and talented who came to delhi for his engineering and right now he is not a small town boy rather a sexy metropolitan guy who is living his life to its fullest by losing some of its basics. Might be he thinking that he has became modern and developed from a small town boy to a sexy metropolitan guy. But leaving your basic will not lead to you on a successful path but will lead you only to a confusion of success and not the success. There are very few people who have conserved the basics of humanity and they are providing the strength all around. I am a small town boy having middle-class values intact. That's why I love discipline. I came to Delhi in January 16, 2006. In Delhi, I have qualified 'A' level from DOEACC SOCIETY through an institute UPTRON ACL and also completed my B.Sc.IT from Punjab Technical University(PTU) through distance learning mode from an institute GENIUS INFORMATICS. Both the institutes are in South Ex.-I. But now I am about to complete my M.Sc.IT from the regional center of the PTU i.e Vivekanand Institute of Computer Education(VICE) in September, 2010. I am trying to achieve that for which I have been living here alone, more than 1000 kms. away from my my parents, my friends, my home.
One thing more I want to say that if I have to get success by losing my moral or basics, I would rather prefer to be unsuccessful because there is another definition of success in my dictionary. I want to say something to the students coming from villages or small towns to Delhi for their study that stick to your basics, labour hard, and concentrate well. Then no one will stop you in achieving your goal..................

  3. That's right. No one wants to be like that but the situations forced him/her to change himself/herself like this.

  4. In my opinion, a person should be strong enough to change the situation rather than to change himself/herself according to the situation.....
